about me
Hey, I’m
kristin
Twenty-four years ago, March rolled around and my parents were gifted another child - this one a girl, who they would grow and nurture lovingly in the state of Massachusetts. My childhood was expansive and never boring; two years following me came my youngest sibling, and I was ultimately sandwiched between two brothers. This felt perfectly placed.
I was given my first digital camera at fifteen, and it changed my ways of thinking forever. I carried this bulky Nikon with me everywhere, and this extra baggage felt more attached to my personality than it did to my own physical being. I loved taking it with me and it was rare I would forget it before leaving my house.
As I traveled through my adolescence, I grew into my skin progressively. Reaching foreword into this new endeavor was euphoric; it felt new and was everything I ever needed.
I was always the child that wanted to explore more, that recorded everything on those cheap early 2000’s cameras, that took photos of the grass and trees and of my friends at parties. I was the creative sibling that tried every craft possible, thought it was going to be the one, and then quit, because it was not the one.
But then I found this, and this was the one, and it always will be.
I live in a reserved two bedroom apartment in a small city with my love, Daniel, and our kitten, Mona. We adore watching films and writing, as they are both hobbies that have conjoined us six years ago.
We are always pushing each other to advance onwards with our creative pursuits, and I hope to never abandon this part of me.
